The Lanyon Team
David is the founder and Managing Director of Lanyon. He has over 20 years funds management experience working for firms in Australia and the UK. David was previously Head of Equities at institutional fund manager, CP2 (formerly Capital Partners). David has an Economics degree from the University of Adelaide, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (FINSIA) and is a CFA charterholder.
Nicholas has over 12 years of financial market experience. Prior to joining Lanyon, Nick worked at Platinum Asset Management for nearly 5 years, where he was a global equity analyst with portfolio management responsibilities. Before this, Nick worked at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse where he was a top ranked analyst covering Australian listed companies. Nick has a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Rebecca is the Head of Operations at Lanyon and is responsible for business management, administrative, trade support and compliance activities. Prior to joining Lanyon, Rebecca spent 11 years at Macquarie and over 3 years at Smith Barney Citigroup.
Alex is an Equities Analyst at Lanyon and also has responsibility for dealing and execution. Prior to Lanyon, he worked as an intern at Platinum Asset Management in Sydney. Alex has completed a Bachelor of Finance & Economics from the University of Adelaide. He has also completed a value investing course from Columbia Business School in New York.
Jack is an Equities Analyst at Lanyon and is also the Portfolio Manager for the Lanyon Investment Fund. Prior to joining Lanyon, Jack was a professional athlete in the AFL. Jack has completed a Bachelor of Business (Banking & Finance) from Monash University.
Ed is an Equities Analyst and has co-portfolio management responsibility for the Lanyon Australian Share Fund. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Adelaide. Whilst completing his studies, he has also worked as an academic tutor, teaching a second year finance course.
